Killed my liesure battery.
Discussion
Its seems i have killed my liesure battery. Its not very old so i am sure its my fault.
I have been running a small electric oil filled radiator in the camper during this winter. So the van's been plugged into the mains. This winter has not been harsh where i live.
Should i have turned the battery cut off switch off? Have i killed it by over charging?
I have just found it dead this morning as i am about to go away for 3 weeks (work). The camper also has a solar panel.
There is a water release valve beside the trauma heater that lets go when there is no Battery current (dead battery). But with no liesure battery connected i have managed to stop it letting all the water away.
I have ordered a new one but wont get that till next week. I can do without it as i will have main's to plug into when at my destination.
Camper model is a Knauss Wiensburg imperial S. On a Renault master chassis.
