Longest drags/trips with a caravan

We've done Cornwall once, and South Devon, leaving from South Wales. But it's occurred to me we tend to keep our trips to Pembs/Gower and North Devon with tows rarely exceeding 2 hours.

What's your usual trip profile (or don't you care), and have you ever taken really long runs, for example up to Scotland, or France? I'm not thinking motorhomes here as I think tours are more suited to their use, I'd say caravans are more suited to a holiday in one place or maybe two.
