Anyone use a caravan cover?

On Saturday I collected the caravan from the farm where we have stored it over winter. It was in a bit of a state, very very dirty with green around the windows, doors, seams, roof lights etc.

I set to it with the pressure washer, a variety of brushes, traffic film remover, snow foam and car wash and after 5 hours it was clean again, ready for a polish.

I don't mind cleaning it but it set me wondering if a caravan cover would be a worthwhile purchase. The only thing that occurred to me is that this may promote internal dampness when left over winter.

Has anyone got any first hand experience of using a cover and if it is a good or bad move?

Thanks for the tip. I've heard the same advice before so didn't have it on high pressure, just enough to move the suds about. The cleaning was done by hand with a variety of brushes.
