Finished all current issues of The Walking Dead, and have bought the first book of Y: The Last Man.
I was led to it after flicking through the top 100 comic characters after watching Thor. (there was also a character from a GN aboot events after the twin towers falling down but can't recall the series).

Y: The Last Man has an interesting premise, and maybe one PHers would enjoy, all men have perished save for one, and the world is left to women...idea
Haven't read it yet, it arrived from Amazon yesterday.

Any other readers out there?

I've read the odd graphic novel here and there - Watchmen still being the standout if I'm honest!
Watchmen is good, read V For Vendetta, or other Moore stuff?

I've nto read V yet, have heard good things though!
Yeh I like V, it's an interesting read. The other main one that I really enjoyed is The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. But that seems rather slim to V and Watchmen, all great stories though.
I like the idea of the Wold Newton family

Of the ones mentioned, I have Dark Knight Returns, it's what kicked me off on them decades ago. Had the Killing Joke when it came out, back when Batman started to become serious again.
I have heard those others are good.
I have a series called Lucifer, it's the Lucifer from Sandman...it is outstanding storytelling.

Well I have got Preacher on order now from Amazon.

Also I have read Y:The Last Man and I think it is rather good, second and third issue now on it's way also.

I got some good ideas for purchases here.

Preacher is in it, as is Rick Grimes and the lad from Y.

Last man on Earth, some women want to abduct and sell him, some want to imprison him, some want to cut his wanger off (bloody Amazons!)...what a life!

Did you catch him on Stewart Lee's show, that was a curious little cameo.

WE3 is a very good book,I tend to mainly read Marvel stuff but have stopped recently due to losing interest but I usually read anything that involves Captain America as I have almost every issue of it.
Was a huge Marvel fan, but they kill off characters just to reuse them...ok once is fair enough, but they do it over and over.
I do still buy MGNs because they have good enclosed stories, like WWHulk, or Civil War, the Ultimates stuff is good as well.

Had to put Y:The Last Man down for a while as I have become obsessed with reading A Song of Fire and Ice.
But I think it should be the next one to get The Walking Dead treatment.

Any good? Worth iplaying?
He was on it for less than 5 mins, but there was a decent lead up to it. He was funny and entertaining for an 89 year old. Worth watching his tiny bit.
