Ranulph Fiennes, "The Feather Men".
Discussion
Hi all. I watched a movie last night called 'Killer Elite'. At the end of the movie there's script stating that the movie is based on a true story, written by Sir Ranulph Fiennes, called 'The Feather Men'.
I'm struggling to find this book for less than £30 for a second hand copy. I also can't see it available for download, which would be preferable being offshore for the next 12 days.
Some information I found tells me that the book was re-released as "Killer Elite". Is anyone able to tell me if the text is the same, and the book has just been renamed?
Thanks in advance, Jim.

It was re-named to cash in on the film, same book beneath the covers.
It is not a true story, though based on certain truths. One or two characters have their real names used. A fun read for a thiller, I still have a copy somewhere.
Cheers! I'll defo keep in touch with you! Hopefully you can help me get into a position to enjoy the book bobbing about Loch Lomond in a boat that won't sink!! I see Killer Elite available for download, I'll go for that during my lunch break.
