Crankshaft Design Literature

I have to design a crankshaft and unfortunately I don't know how. Could anyone point me in the direction of a book/journal with a step-by-step guide of the calculations that are required. Thanks in advance!

It is for a single cylinder diesel engine with a low rpm range (1000-1500). I was assuming that the method would be similar regardless of application. Maybe I know even less than I think I do.
