I seem to recall you were deciding what to do with the alloys on your F1. It seems this McLaren has BBS alloys, is it yours?

Cheers

Cool. Thought so.

How are the new alloys going? Any vast improvements?

Driving Ambition is an awesome book. I bought mine a while back. Remember just drooling over the images. The detail is extraordinary and you just know that EVERY nut and bolt was fitted for a reason and it was the perfect nut or bolt for that job.

DEFINITELY recommend anyone vaguely interested in cars to buy the book.

Flemke - I believe your car has been spied again in this months CAR (one with the FXX on the cover). Page 30 has a series of pics of various McLarens that have been photographhed by readers. Botton right under 'Banbury, UK' reads:

CAR said:

Snapped by Neil Murless. "On holiday in the UK I found this McLaren at a McDonald's Drive Thru. Of course I tell people this was my hire car during the trip"

I wouldn't mind editing of the thread, or anything else. It's not my thread anyhow. It was started by "rico", who seems to have gone quiet lately.

I'm still about. Just been busy moving house and with work.

This thread (and the 2 or 3 previous Q&A threads) are brilliant and if they can be edited into a more readable format then even better.
