Andrew Benson - F1 expert????

I'm getting increasingly frustrated reading anything this guy writes. He's a BBC reporter, not a commentator or pundit, yet he seems to feel he has some divine right to defend the current F1 regs, in particular the fuel saving element to them.

This isn't a rant about the new F1 regs at all, but more a concern that Andrew Benson is playing up to his environmentalist BBC bosses for showing such disdain to F1 before 2014 and such admiration for it now.

It's as if it's more about politics to him than racing.

It's plainly not. I made that quite clear in my post. If you want to read other things into it then it's a pity as it demeans your debating capability somewhat.
