drivers and or cars keep having these problems.

After this race where the likes of Ferrari and red bull seem to have caught up to Mercedes and with rosberg not taking advantage and Hamilton coming from the back again after a reliability issue in quali could Riccardo who is only what 70 points behind pinch this years title.

Yes its a bit of a theory but stranger things have happened in f1 and I do believe if both merc drivers continue to take points of each other we might see a unexpected driver win this year very much like vettel in 2010, this is also a good point aswell with the double points at the last race.

Or is it the track which suited the red bull and Ferrari more and we will be back to normal come spa, but whatever will happen im sure Riccardo will become a future champion very soon.

Well if this continues Riccardo could sneak in to a wdc at the last race just like his team mate in 2010. Specially with double points too.

Hes 30 points behind Hamilton and 64 behind rosberg not a big gap tbh im sure vettel had a bigger gap coming into this stage of his wdc in 2010.

Just saw this online

Points over the last 6 races

Ricciardo: 102
Rosberg: 98
Bottas: 76
Hamilton: 73
Alonso: 60
Nice stats very surprised that bottas has scored more points than Hamilton.

All that Riccardo needs is for Hamilton to take out rosberg and Riccardo grin will be even bigger. Red bull now needs to keep the focus on Riccardo and for vettel to help him do it which im sure he would.

Monza will be interesting. Now Red Bull have found out that their car goes quite quick with no wing and still goes round the corners properly, they are a bit of a threat; Williams will be right up there of course, and presumably McLaren can at least go fast in a straight line.

I don't think Mercedes will piss this up the wall, but they need to make a firm decision on who they're backing for WDC, and do it quickly. Otherwise their drivers are going to carry on being petulant little twits until Ricciardo wins by a nose. And what a nose. wink
I was also thinking this too. Who though will they choice rosberg because he is 30 points ahead or hamiton because he is a better racer relatively speaking.

They have to choice quickly though leave it any longer and they will lose the drivers title.
