What some discribed as a minor racing accident in yesterdays race will be a whole different ball game if the same thing happens in the final race this year.

We have seen in the past the lead driver in the points winning the championship by driving into his rival and getting away with it. The 2 clashes between Senna and Prost were blatent , Schuey lunge at Damon debateable? But he then did the same to JV only to come of worse.

With 50 points on offer at the last race the points leader has a huge advantage as things stand and providing Daniel has not got too close ,It makes no difference to him if he does not finish the race providing his rival DNFs as well.

In NASCAR both the driver and the team can have points docked depending on wether its a driving situation or failed car procedure.

If the above situation should sadly occur the Current FIA sanction of a grid penalty would be useless and some sort of retrospect penalty is needed!

Removing them from the race results would have no bearing and the FIA have not had the balls in the past to remove the driver from the championship.

Wasn't Schumacher disqualified from the '97 championship?
Thats true but the race results were allowed to stand , Made no diifference to Schuey as he had lost the championship to JV anyway but did promote Frentzen to second.

Would they DQF a driver who had won the championship is debateable and after a season racing to harsh?
Better to dock him the 50 points the race win was worth.

So guys what should happen if this occurs in Abu Dhabi? ,Nico or Lewis destroying the others race and then taking the championship.
I know they could be removed from the Championship,But that seems over the top after a seasons long battle, But because of the situation a drive thru hardly seems enough.
