Some idiot posted up how bad the rain was back at the 1976 Japanese Grand Prix the other day, that's ruined the evening I had planned to watch Rush.

Red Bull will do well here. It will be the closest they've been to Merc so far.

Rosberg will struggle at this circuit

I expect a close duel between Hamilton and Vettel for race win.
Early days but are you still of this opinion?

Back when men was men they had monsoon tyres and just got on with it, before having a pair of balls and knowing how to use them became politically incorrect and they filled the grid with fairies.

LMAO at ted in P1: "torro rosso front wing blah blah halfway house between the keel nose and gentlemans appendage which they've ran all season .. kvviat has the development nose and verstappen the old package.."

You could hear them all just about st themselves.
Terrible! Did he really say 'they've ran'?

BBC saying the threat of a typhoon is reducing, if we get a dry race now I'll be quite annoyed.
Most of the time when the F1 paddock talks up a wet race it ends up being dry.

I just hope they dont do the 2 safety car laps and call it a day, unless obviously its impossible to continue later on.

At least there wont be any need to save fuel with all the floating. Lift & sail to the coast.

An SC start?!? Are we going to see it out for 20 laps before the race starts? Pathetic!
Cant go racing with the standing water at the moment though, would be carnage.

The promoters of the GP are smart guys, didnt want to move the start time because they didnt want people to miss the race..... Now they dont have a race at all biggrin

Should there be an alternate Safety Car for such weather conditions? Something with 4 wheel drive - Audi RS 4 perhaps?
Would certainly be able to go faster than these AMG Mercs I would think, in these conditions?

Or is it just pointless
Unimog with an f1 engine wink

Everything is Hondas fault, more VTEC and the sun would be shining due to global warming wink

Apparently they are the promoters.
