Does Lauda dislike Hamilton? *QUALI SPOILER*
Discussion
I've just caught up with the Qualifying and well done to Hamilton for another personal record and stonking lap. Rosberg is truly broken.
Anyway, in the post chat with Lauda and Ted, yet another quip was made about Hamilton still not having a signed contract.
Lauda said something like "It's a pity that Nico couldn't take it, for Mercedes anyway". Does it annoy him that there is a British driver running all over the top of a German?
D.

No offense- Are you quite recent to F1? like said lauda loves hamilton. toto the boss man, perhaps, would prefer a nice loyal manageable company man driver in front for them - (thats not to infer anything untoward going on though)
lewis is probably the biggest star in F1 right now, at his peak, and his contract is going to be a serious one, and like said they're negotiating it with 80% of the current contracted season to go, compared with seb and alonsos contracts being tied up so late last year it's really a mountain being made of a molehill by the media.
None taken. I'm not new to F1 but will admit (which seems clear now) that i'm not au fait with the movers and shakers at the top. lewis is probably the biggest star in F1 right now, at his peak, and his contract is going to be a serious one, and like said they're negotiating it with 80% of the current contracted season to go, compared with seb and alonsos contracts being tied up so late last year it's really a mountain being made of a molehill by the media.
It was just that one convo that struck me as maybe being a bit disappointed that Nico didn't get pole but that's since been clarified.
