Driving to work this morning i saw a Range Rover in the new 'Essex White' at it had a private plate on it that was so badly altered/hacked about with i couldnt work out a) what it was trying to say or b) what it originally was and it just made me think, 'knob' - even though it was a nice car etc

What single thing on a car makes you instantly think 'knob' ?

People who allow small dogs on rear parcel shelves. Thats a cracked skull and a dead pet waiting to happen.

Parents that allow children to climb all over the seats/car - urgh, have some respect!

People who use terms like 'Essex White'. It could equally be 'Surrey White' or 'Oxfordshire White'. It's not a geographic phenomenon.
Humour - not a fan? tongue out

Honestly?

For me, it's people who get so worked up as to post on an internet forum their subjective assessment of an individual based on the car he/she drives.

It's pathetic.
wow, bet your a hoot at parties..

it was intended to be a topic of discussion rather than a rant so it seems that your the one getting 'so worked up'

I'm not ranting; merely 'discussing' smile

I was being slightly tongue-in-cheek. But I was also referring to the 'Positive Essex' thread a little bit.
Fair comment actually.. i live in Essex and im not helping its cause by reinforcing the stereotype.

Its just these idiots are ruining everything that was once nice! - Loughton and the colour white! Ive previously owned 2 White 205 1.9GTi's and would love another, until i saw white 'devalue' thanks to spray tan tango ganster chick wannabes :-/

People who drive with one arm out of the window. Especially the ones that are holding on to the roof, WTF is that all about?

This might be a bit of a sore point to some but i CANT STAND people who have their make/model of car in their private plate...

A5 VXR
M5 BMW

etc.. we know what car it is, and if we dont it means we dont care!

Also, people who have manufacture logos on the side of their plate

Urgh!

actually my new gripe is people that crawl along under the speed limit on B roads when they are twisty and then on the odd straight where someone that would like to go a little faster through the bends might try and overtake they floor it to make overtaking as dangerous as possible, then slow back down to a crawl URGH!!

you auto boys can slip it into N and put the handbrake up like us manual boys have to.

(this will not cause the reverse lights to 'flash' either)

People that have 'child on board' signs, usually in a beaten up Mondeo and then drive like complete kn*bs themselves!

also, these parents that say 'id do enyfink for ma kidz...' then stick them in front of a TV all day while the mother smokes herself to death in the kitchen gossiping with another teenage mum from the estate.

Surely every single thing associated with cars and driving ever has been mentioned now.

Does the thread implode on itself when everything is mentioned twice?
if it did there would be gapping holes where the 'sean connery joke' threads once were?
