I am travelling from Newport to Leeds this Sunday, I have done it a few times and once had a nice train which google seems to tell me is a HST and have also had a grotty small train which I think is a Voyager.

Could anyone tell me which service which trains are the nice ones?

Ah right, I suppose it doesn`t matter, 5 hour trip though, not often its quicker to drive with a direct train.

Booked first class only about £20 more, so hopefully should be bearable.

Cheers

Ah well cant be any worse than my journey this evening.

Mental delays from Leeds to Kings Cross, my train was 85 mins late, but luckily got on the eariler delayed train.

A few people were sent to Doncaster, then told there were no trains.

To top it all off, had no lunch as I "knew" Id make best use of first class (work paid) for food etc

Then a message (No food or drink sorry) cant even BUY a bottle of water... not good

What time trains are you on, I can tell you what you'll be having!!

Voyagers are st for a number of reasons, HST's are marvellous (although less marvellous than they used to be!).

FYI, 43034 was the best one!!
