What do you think you can buy NOW for under £10k that, in 10 years time will be worth over £10k?

Recently with some mates we were looking back at 'if only' we'd bought one of those cars, it'd be worth a fortune now... Well, what could that be now?

I was going to check the prices of the NSX.. but there's none for sale on PH currently! Has anyone seen these creep under £10K? If not, I'm sure they'll hold or rise in the next 10 years. Also tipped by Harry in this month's EVO.

Good call on the Evo... Thought as much for the NSX. Last I looked the cheapest/oldest was hovering at 15/16K

B5... Looking at the RS2, that's also quite a good call. RS2s haven't budged an inch in price for about 5 or 6 years. Although I wouldn't gamble my 10K on a B5.

Wondering off topic a bit.. I think when (more like IF) the Civic FD2 drops under 10K, it might be a keeper? certainly more so than the DC2/5.

There's one for 9K on PH now... but yeah, below 10 is a long shot (ish)

As nice as they are, lots of the cars suggested here will just be forgotten. Will have to be iconic, have racing pedigree or be brilliant in some way.
True.. that's the point of the question. Any suggestions?

An unmolested Clio Williams.... driving
Can't see a willy doing it... History tells us that it's 'unlikely': 106 1.6 Rallye, hovered at 3K for AGES. 172 Cup, dirt cheap now and only getting cheaper, 205 gti, as previously said in the thread. You could just say 'any unmolested performance car' for that matter.
