Recommend me some discs / pads...
Discussion
I'm going to upgrade my front brakes soon (MG ZT CDTi, fitting ZT 190 calipers - same as you'd find on an e46 330i), so need some new discs and pads.
Wondering what the PH masses recommend?
It's a heavy car (~1600KG), and I want good braking performance from cold - I don't really work the brakes hard, and it's for road not track use.
I did have a look on eBay but it seems the selection is really small (or at least, all the ones that claim to fit the 190 are actually for the brakes I already have - they need to be 325mm).
OE pads are £65, but I can't seem to find OE discs for any less than an arm and a leg...
Suggestions?

The 325mm ones that I need are £229, which is IMO! Plus, I've never heard of "Rossini" before...I only paid £38 for my rear discs! (Brembos)

OEM discs and pads from Euro Car Parts or your favourite motor factor - Pagid, Mintex, Jurid, Textar, whatever they have. If you're not driving it hard, good quality standard parts should do the job.
I don't know why, but I have some irrational fear of "budget" brakes.I would go for OE discs - but they are £100. Each...

BMW Direct, OEM, £77 for a pair of front discs for the 330i e46 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Front-Brake-...
Thanks for the link, but unfortely while the calipers & pads are the same (I would presume - the calipers 100% are), the discs are different as the ZT has a different wheel PCD...Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
