not impressed 330i e90
Discussion
Just test drove a 06 330i e90 auto. Lovely car, loads of extras. Had a e46 330ci. Manual before and a e91 330d auto before that.
The 330i e90 has only good reviews but it left me feeling flat... The performance felt flat, lazy and not the electric
Maybe the dsg vrs octavia I was driving all day has spoilt me but the bmw just felt old hat.
Does anyone agree or could share some experiences?
I'm gonna go and see an r32 and I'm hoping its a little bit more fun ???

I have decided against buying it as it will soon hit mileages where it will be effectively worthless (near 70k). I do around 20k a year, have a fuel card and can only afford around 11k for a new car.
Was really dissapointed as the 330i gave a bit more of a grown up image than a hatch back. But am looking at a 57plate low mileage 26k gti tomorrow.
Any other recomendations I should look at, just needs to have 4 doors.

So the GTi I have owned before and i just took one out for a spin in a friends as the one im viewing tomorrow is 100 miles away. And well errr there isnt much in it between this and the 330i.
Tonight i have seen a 335i on the BMW used site and i might have a word with them in the morning.
I keep being drawn to a e90 as they are just a bit more grown up, have toys and will eat the miles in comfort. God im getting old (33 lol). I guess your right the 330i was a silky drive it just needed a bit of winding up to get going LOL.
