Spare 30 mins? Fascinating insight into Koenigsegg and the engineering underpinning their cars.

Usual caveats apply WRT reposting etc. I did check.

No one else enjoy it? I thought the stuff on their engineering was fascinating.

yeah I watched it a few days ago. the sheer talent and passion that goes into these smaller firms like Koenigsegg and Pagani to name a few is fantastic.
The door hinge was what impressed me the most. Everyone told him you can't make the door work in a single motion so he spent hours and hours designing a special hinge; and what a work of art it is.

I found it fascinating. He's clearly very passionate and there is something Chapman-esque about the way every discussion about a technology featured a subtext about the weight impact on the car.

I have a hankering, if ever there was a lotto win to put money behind it, to birth a TVR style company but with more-Koenigsegg style engineering than CCC/PPC.

One thing I would love to know, how does a 23 year old get the money behind him to start it. Wikipedia is very scant on his family background.

The inspiration had to have come from somewhere biggrin
