the new Donkervoort D8 GTO uses the fantastic audi 5-cill with standard 340hp on just 700kg and you have a option for 400hp.

edit: The first 25 have a circuit button that turns another 60hp and so the 400hp gets out.
it also has a good working (more sporty) traction control system but not by braking but by ignition or so.









They still have to do some testing but already have some interesting figures...

from the 340hp 2,5-liter TFSI (standard version) (I guess that's with the sport button switched on 400hp)
0-100 km/h the D8 GTO does in just 3 sec...

and even more special the from 100km/h to 200km/h in just 6.1 sec

and that is for the standard 340hp version...which can go to the optional 400hp

nice video with English subtitled and especially from 5.40min its becoming mental with that sound of that 5-cill 380<>400hp engine.
in the 380hp case with just 695kg it makes less then 1.83kg per hp and with the 400hp most have just 1.74kg per hp...mmm

Excellent video report in English about the GTO, the thing can go from 0 to 200km/h in just 8.6 sec

it has a lot gimmicks but still weights only 695kg and that with 380hp (more is also posible)

but look the video out and listen what that journalist has to say about it, he first drives the more prototype car and later the 'better' client versions.
