My husband was assaulted on our driveway last night and they took his red Audi s4 (YS10 OJT). This happened in Manchester and unfortunately they turned off his iPhone before it could be tracked.
I'll add it to the stolen cars thread later, but I'm on my phone and can't sort the formatting.
Please can you keep an eye out and report any suspicious behavior is a red s4 even if the plates have been changed.
Thank you.

Possibly has a broken nose and a few bruises from the s kicking him on the floor and stamping on his head. Could have been worse as the said they had a knife when they didn't know how to start the engine.

I don't think this picture shows it very well, but it's quite a dark red rather than pillar box red.

I own a shotgun, and the cars have gps trackers installed. Doesn't stop them from getting me outside, but if they set foot into my house, they won't get out alive
Would you like to come and live with us?!
Just bought a load of razor wire (and the obligatory warning signs so the buggers can't sue us if they shred their hands!)

I'd like to take a golf club to them, unfortunately there's been no sign so far and the police think it's either been stripped for parts or in is a container and was stolen to order for Nigeria.

Looks like we're going to be a 1 car family and I'll have to be brave and let James drive Izzy (with strict instruction of rev limits allowed!)

First off it was a lease car so couldn't have out own tracker. Also, they thought he had disabled it because the clutch had to be pressed ridiculously hard for it to start. This was when they threatened him with a knife. I'd rather they took it and buggered off than get angry on our doorstep.
I'd looked into getting a "this car has a tracker fitted" sticker but heard they'll just demand you disable it or rip the car apart to disable it.
I don't think there's a simple option to fully protect yourself unfortunately.

His bruising is going down quicker than I expected (much to his disappointment!) But the police have been brilliant and given us window alarms and car lock etc.
Still no word on the car, although apparently they've stopped a few S4s just to check.

There aren't many in manchester. Only seen 1 other in the 2 years we've had the car!

Urgh it gets worse, the police are pretty convinced the 3 guys were the same who burgled us last week and it appears they've taken my bank details. Arghhhhh

I'm also live in Manchester. Which part are you in?
We're south Manchester, although we've just been to look at a new development near Worsley.

The whole of our fence is now topped with barbed wire.

I think there's 4 in that video and if they were going to take the car I wish they'd done it that way!!

We've just been to speak to some of our neighbours to set up a home watch scheme, but I was amazed how many people didn't have their door locked or left windows open. We're turning into Fort Knox!!

No worries! I accidentally poked him in his sore nose today trying to get toothpaste off it!

Had a call from the police, it's been found but doesn't sound like they caught the bds. Waiting for more information.

I don't want it back!! If they've got away they know exactly where it's going back to and they could have cloned a key. What's to stop them coming back for another go?! Need to try and find a loop hole in the NHS lease.
