Sierra Cosworth on Wheeler Dealers - 400 bhp?

just seen this episode on wheeler dealers and noticed at the start that the seller told Brewer it was running 380-400 bhp with the engine upgrades.
But at the end when they had a go at a 0-60 run they got 5.9 and 6.4 secs. Im sure that the standard car with about 220 bhp could do 6.2.
I know the car was a good 20 years old nearly but 400 bhp should be faster?
