Hi would appreciate some advice please. Purchase a used car for the first time this weekend after 5 years of company cars.

The car was bought from an independant dealer and only in the way home did I discover that it appears not to have Bluetooth as stated in the advert. This is really irritating, as it was a key feature (I know I should have checked)....

The car itself is an Otavia VRS 2.0 tfsi 09 plate facelift. Unless I'm missing something there is no way to activate Bluetooth on bolero touchscreen system despite the phone button (just mutes stereo), no maxidot computer either so no use tooth on menu. I have even e-mailed Skoda UK to see if it left the factory with this option with no response!

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Misplaced exclamation mark re: skoda uk comment! I'm sure they will respond in due course, was just emphasising the lengths I'm going to to resolve the problem. I'm letting the issue overshadow my new toy purchase and first car ever with more than 150bhp!!!

Can't be autotrader was included within the ad on dealers own website as a feature... I'll see what he says following call tomorrow.

Thanks DuraAce any additional details of what you purchased? Funds are tight after purchase and moving flat next week but will put on my list after a full paint correction and mega clean of interior, engine bay etc.

Hmmm going from the above, the car has been misrepresented despite my mistake when viewing. More than likely an innocent error by dealer however... Suppose it depends on how much of an a***e I want to be about it... Not really my style
