I'm sure that this has been done to death, so sorry.

On my way home from work this morning, there was a cyclist in front of me. Clearly he was a V.I.C as red lights didn't apply to him. Nor did he feel the need to use the marked cycle lane either. I don't hate cyclists, but if they want to be treated the same as motorists, then should they not adhere to the same rules and laws?

I know some will say it's fine for him to go trough a red light, and maybe it is, but I aren't so sure.

Who the hell thinks cyclists want to be treated the same as motorists? Isn't the whole point of using an alternative to the car is that you're not the same as a car?
I hear it all the time that cyclists want to be treated the same in terms of respect on the road etc. The ones who don't go through red lights will always get my respect.

The ones who go through pedestrian crossings that are on a red or a red light and mines on a green and I've almost collected them (has happened on several occasions) don't get my respect.
