I am covered in flea bites and the only places they could have come from are my office or car. Health and Safety says they can't use chemicals straight away at work. So I have got some chemicals and sprayed both my office and car. By the way I have no pets. It got me thinking could they be living in the car air-con?
This is driving me mad. I have bites on my ankles and back where it touches my car seat and office chair (both of which are leather). Has anyone else experienced this and how do you get rid? Put in GG because of the potential car link.

I am pretty sure they are in the office. Some bites before Christmas. None over Christmas. Covered now. However I didn't use the car much over the holiday. I'm just trying to cover the bases with the car (been in it for 9 hours in the last 24 and no fresh ones) and will insist on a smoke bomb at work. The itching is terrible.

I've already sprayed everything twice but want to be sure. I have looked for a car air-con bomb with insecticide but not had any luck. However as an earlier poster said they need blood to live. However they could be sneaking in and out of the vents.

I can't see any in the car or office. The marks on me have been confirmed by a doctor. None on the family. Where else should I look?

My brother and sister in law are both GPs they are 100% that they are flea bites. I've not seen one yet. Apparently they are quite common in offices. Definitely not scabies that was confirmed by my sis in law. It was a consideration as I stay in hotels a lot.

I have a separate office. The rest of the floor is un-carpeted so no one else is suffering. I suspect someone has brought them in there. Due to a recent restructure it has not been cleaned for some time. I have had it cleaned and I've sprayed it. Just want to make double sure. I'm itching so much it bleeds!

I'm having the office sprayed tomorrow. I'll see what happens and report back. Not dead but very itchy.

I've treated the car twice and the pros are coming into the office tomorrow morning. To be fair work bought me a spray and I did the office and car with it and they are sorting tomorrow out. Been to the docs today and got cream shower gel and a anti something moisturiser. Need to shower and apply twice a day for two weeks. Cost me £20 odd but feel a lot less itchy already.
