Are proposed speed cameras on motorways just another cashcow

The latest proposal by Highways Agency to install hundreds of speed cameras on our motorways simply has to yet another way to squeeze yet more money from the motorist. What other purpose could they possibly be installed for? No way can it be argued that on a road that is designed for speed will the cameras help to stop accidents, rather the reverse as people driving safely at around eighty when they see these disguised cameras, will naturally react, that will cause the accident.

Well according to PHnews they are supposed to be an upgrade to the HADECS 2 cameras with a better version, well it means that they will be better at it then, I still think they are not there to help keep the traffic moving, they serve one purpose only.CASH
