I've just had my renewal from the AA for £145, so i rang up and told them thy dit for 80 something last year, so the reduced it to 90. I asked them why they tried to double it every year and why they didn't offer the lower price from the start as reward for loyalty and not calling them out. The guy said they were looking at that. Anyway, i rang the RAC and he quoted £78, which got me to thinking which is the best They both insure the driver not the vehicle, which is ideal for me, as we have a van, a family car and i also have 2 road legal classic cars.
Should i switch to the RAC or stay with the AA ?
What are your experiences, good and bad ?

That's actually what i was thinking of doing, so they dont keep taking me for granted. Also I dont personally care for the AA's stance on speed cameras. Nottm is covered in the things but the roads are in appalling condition.
