Renault Twingo 133 Gordini

Mrs AngryDog is wanting a Twingo 133. The main issue is that she wants the 12 reg face lift as her 12 reg 1.2 Twingo is the same and she likes the look. The problem is that there aren't many around.

She may consider a Gordini, but for a 200 run car, there seems to be quite a lot for sale.

Has anyone owned one of these? Is it better to get a Gordini over a normal 133?

Yeah the 133's are 1.6's. They're based on a Clio engine with some tuning.

She did see a Silverstone edition, but it looks very poverty spec inside, hence the Gordini question.

I guess she may just either have to wait for a 12 reg one, or get something else.

She isnt keen on the new one coming out sadly.

Well she picks up her 13 reg 133 tomorrow, sans the Cup suspension, but she hardly thrashes her cars or drives them quick, so Cup suspension wasnt needed.

I'll get to drive it when I get home next week, if I can fit in it! The seats dont seem to go very far back (at least they dont in her 12 reg 1.2)?

Cheers, I'm sure we both will! So if the rear seats go backwards, will that let the front seats go further backwards? Her 1.2 has the same seats, and I could never get the drivers (or passenger) seat to go far enough back to allow me to drive it comfortably, so I only ever drove it very rarely (I think I've driven it twice). My knees feel like they're around my ears and I am only 5 ft 10
