Man paints his brake discs

MTec supply them in Black or Silver. Had some black ones on my 206, look OK so I bought some for the Anglia.



The logic being that the coating prevents them from rusting until they're ready to be used.

The problem was not using high-temp paint on something that gets very hot, rather than using paint on the friction face.

Well this chap on the BMW forum says he has used normal wheel paint.

Alright guys, I'm sorry I jumped on it like I did. I didn't want to be bhy, I'd just never heard of doing this before and it didn't seem like a good idea to me, so wondered what you thought. Although my opening post wasn't particularly well worded. At all.

So please accept my apologies, and to the guy on BMW5 if he is reading.
