I'm just amazed that someone on a car enthusiasts' website couldn't recognise an AC Cobra, surely one of the most iconic automobile shapes of all time. Even my mum would have known that.

I agree, it's staggering really, even if the OP is a youngster (under 20).

And I have no doubt that's a real 289 Cobra, given Horner's love of vintage racing, and ability to afford a real one.

Cobra's seem to be the in car among the F1 paddock these days, with Lewis Hamilton owning 2 x 427 Cobra's.

You’re forgetting this is not, exclusively, a car forum, and I make zero apologies for being far more knowledgeable on bikes. Plenty of peeps here would be equally stumped naming classic bikes. I have an interest in cars, but never extended to that kind of vehicle, until I saw those pics.

I do know roughly what a Cobra looks like, but there’s a few that look similar, right? I also knew they’re a US company, and the car was a marriage between a British chassis and a US engine – am I right?
