I've just watched Wheeler Dealers where Mike and Ed picked up a 1975 a Interceptor for £5k, tided it up a bit then sold it for £6.5k (allegedly).

This can't be right - a quick trawl through the classifieds confims that prices are a lot higher. What's the score?

I like the show and the presenters but didn't realise it was quite so old.

Even Mrs303 was sceptical and said if i could find an Interceptor for £6k then i could have one.

She must be more up to date on the current values than me or knew the show was filmed ages ago, confident I'd never find one.

Right, duly noted to ignore any prices given in future smile Great show though and as it's been mentioned, nicely straight forward without too much flannel.

I remember the C4 show he did a decade or more ago, him and another tall chap (or does everybody seem tall next to Mike?)

I recall it had a combination of 'Wheels' and 'Deals' in the title too.

Good entertainment & some good cars. Sure a lot of the buyers aren't really actual buyers & Eds wages and pro tools are not taken into account! But watchable..
