According to Carl of Elite Legal Services the £1500 that was being held on file for my "accident" 3 years ago in which no one sustained any injuries has nothing to do with increasing insurance costs, it's the fact that 90% of accidents involve uninsured drivers!!
Another less known fact is that any claim over £300 has also been proven to cause an injury. I must have been suffering with my non injury for years, just not noticed it!

There's a comment on one of the Mercedes forum today from a poster who got one of these calls and they told him if he didn't claim the money then it would go to his insurance company. Both parties were insured with the same company!
He should have claimed - serve the idiots right for passing on his details.
