Seriously, why? You know the ones, petrols station is busy and yet some complete mong, rather than just finding a pump to sit behind, sits in the entrance to the fuel station waiting for the next free pump. Twice today I've driven round these fking idiots and waited at a pump to fuel up. No grief, just full on stares (powerfully built fridge thrower and all that) but I just cannot understand people sometimes, just fking get on with it!

That is massively different from someone waiting for the next available pump to come up with. The chap is talking about running in front of someone in a queue. It's scummy behaviour.
No it isn't, it's selfish moronic behaviour on the part of the idiot sat in the entrance. Picture the scene, my local Shell garage isn't particularly busy but the pumps are mostly full however dimwit decides to sit in the entrance to the station waiting for the next available slot. Where he's sat is at least one and a half car lengths away from any pump and as I pull up behind him, I'm stuck with my arse halfway out in the road causing a minor inconvenience because now the two way traffic can't flow because someone has to wait behind me to get past. I don't have time for morons who can't think about the consequences of their stupid actions so yes, I went round him and queued at a pump like any normal human being would do. As it turned out I think I fuelled and paid up about 30 secs before him so it made bugger all difference to anyone. I just wish people would think about what they're doing.

(As for my rant originally being in SP&L, my bad, thought I was in GG).

Yeah, you personally might, everyone else would think "prick" as you queue jump
You're really not getting this are you? The scenario is ONE IDIOT (possibly you) blocking the forecourt entrance, not a queue of 10 cars patiently waiting.
Exactly this. If there was a queue of three cars (or more than one) then no, of course I wouldn't go round them (frankly, I'd just go somewhere else), that would be inviting trouble but for the single dimwitted throbber causing problems, no problem with it whatsoever and I'll continue to do it.

Nice, I haven't been called a name on the internet for ages. You must have enormous testicles.

But you seem happy to call others names in your original post?
Yep, because they are the ones acting like mongs, not me. You're clutching at straws and this thread hasn't gone well for you. Might be time to pull the pin?

And clearly "winning" on an internet thread means a lot to you.
Far, far less than it means to you. Seriously mate, go somewhere else.

Jesus Christ, the things that people read into on the internet. It's a nice day, I'm off out for a ride on my bike. I might even do some filtering.

Go out for a ride on your bike and cool off.

Make sure you get some petrol in it first...
All good here my friend, nothing wrong with this callsign. You're the one getting your frillies in a twist. And on that note, I'm definitely off out for a ride. Enjoy your afternoon.

I genuinely read the OP and thought 'I bet he drives a BMW'...

This isn't the first time...in fact, whenever there is a cock'ish thread - it's usually started by a BMW driver.

I feel sorry for BMW drivers who aren't cocks...but seriously, The stereotype won't die until you guys sort yourselves out.
Nice try. I was in my wife's 18 year old MX5.

It was, if you read my original rant, it describes exactly what's graphically shown above. Remarkable really.

I suppose you do the same in banks and post offices then?

One queue of people waiting for a window to be free and you just rock up and stand behind someone at a window?

Same thing isnt it?
You misinterpreted right from the off, not everyone else. You're the one going off on a tangent. It's pretty obvious to anyone that in my original rant that I'm going on about a mong (not a queue of mongs and I pointed out that I wouldn't go round a queue of more than one at the risk of getting filled in) sat in the entrance to a fuel station and yet YOU have decided to go down the route of banging on about queues of multiple people, etc. Try reading the original post next time, it might shave a few weeks off that inevitable stroke.

Interesting. Everyone else got it apart from you and yet somehow I wasn't clear enough. Sounds like you're the sort of fellow who could start an argument in an empty room. Try rereading the sequence of posts and the content and I think you'll find that YOU were the one that took it off-piste.

No name calling today then?

Really? Because the first two posters read it as i did too. I could re-read the entire thread to find others who were thrown by it, but i cant be bothered to be frank.

3 people out of the first half dozen or so posts doesnt sound like a great statistic to me.
Then they're just as guilty as you for misreading the post, aren't they?

Bored that you seem to have to "win" an argument on the internet and get the last word.
See, this is the second time you've mentioned something about winning but I don't know what it is I'm trying to win and you seem slightly obsessed with it. Is there a prize, what do I have to do to get it? I have no interest in getting the last word but if you want to continue to argue the point (whatever it is now that you've changed your mind) then you shouldn't be surprised if someone responds to it. It is funny though how you've taken two posters on the first page who also read my post wrongly but ignored the other nine pages of general agreement and used that to somehow justify your position. Weak, very weak and just plain lazy.

Seriously, I genuinely don't care if you agree with me or not, it makes no odds to me but if you are going to disagree with me try at least to understand what it is you're disagreeing about and try and do it with a bit more style than adding the word 'prick' into your sentence.

Anyhoo, I'm done with you, enjoy your last word. It's plain to me that you're a fairly tedious internet warrior who serves and volleys semantics to his own ends and is too far up his own exhaust to see how his contributions to this thread have, at best, been feverishly argumentative, ill thought out and a little bit juvenile in places.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
