Hi all;
Looking for some advice and any relevant experiences from anyone that has owned or driven the Mondeo 2.5T, 2007 and onwards.
Are they good to drive? I presently have a mk3 and I have been pleasantly surprised by how good this is to drive.
Fuel economy? I don't expect miracles but would it be reasonable to aim for 30 mpg on a run, I have a mixed round trip commute of 60 miles per day.
Servicing? What are the intervals? What are the cambelt intervals?
Any known faults? Things to be aware of.
Thanks for looking, any help appreciated.

Thanks for all the replies, quite a bit to consider, including the Volvo.
What got me thinking about one of these is that I am not a big lover of diesels and I do like the Mondeo, at least in mk3 form and you seem to be able to pick up the 2.5t at what I would consider to be a very reasonable price for a lot of car, although the estates do seem to command a hefty premium.
Anyway, will consider some more, thanks for the help from anyone who replied.

Thanks Lee,not ready to buy just yet, have a car to sell first, but will get back to you if I sell quickly.
Bit cheeky I know, but how many miles and do you have a figure in mind.

Hi Angrydog, yes I know its a mk4, just saying that I was quite impressed with Mondeos, bit of a generalisation I know.
Hows the M5, still got it.
I do / did fancy an M5 but I don't think that they are comparable with the Mondeo.

Hi fastdruid;
Thanks for the information, interesting and helpful with regard to the Mondeo.
I am at a loss as to understand how this has developed in to a comparison with the M5?? Completely different cars in every way.
