I can't get my head around this why so many drivers have their feet on brakes when stopped. It is irritating for the driver who is behind them.I know this subject has been here before.

Handbrake on or put that little lever in park when you have a automatic. Are people that insecure?

If I see the dick-head in front with their foot-brake on, I position my car so that my n/s headlights line up with their mirror and give dazzle for dazzle.biggrin

I really envy you clever-stes who say that lights don't dazzle them; you must have cataracts!!!
Good thinking>smileI can understand it when you are on a dark road stopped and keep you feet on the brake. You know, in case you are rear ended. But in a que of traffic? Or your car has such a special design that you can't use the handbrake.

Bloody mindend.

And if someone crashes into you the very expensive gearbox gets fked as well as the boot.
I drove a automatic for ten years VW Jetta from D to N no problem to the gearbox. Some of the nonsense people belief.

I think it's selfish and a display of sloppy driving. I wonder if the germans do it? Somehow I doubt that they do but I bet the brit drivers are obvious to them. Most of the people who do it still can't make a speedy getaway. Ordinary lights aren't especially bothersome but the LED's on audi's, volvos, beemers and mercs seem to be overly bright.
Good points, just think about the people who are waiting behind your car. That is all I'm asking swearing at each other won't help.>smile
