Productive Morning

Got woken up early by the cat, Mrs Mave is away, so I launched into a list of man jobs with the kids. Laid my final ton of gravel on a driveway extension and whacked it down; changed the header tank on Mrs Mave's mondeo and gave it fresh antifreeze while the kids washed it; Clayed my car and greased all the soft top linkages; washed and lubed my road bike and put on winter tyres; changed the plugs, leads and points on the camper van and tweaked the timing. Anyone else had a "last weekend before winter hits" satisfying Sunday?

Ha ha, non-man stuff. Quick lunch, drive to the hills, roof down. Walk in the hills, home, light fire, help boys with homework, beer to relax

What tyres did you put on your bike?

Continental GP 4 seasons. They're 25 instead of 23, and I've dropped the pressure to 80 instead of the 110 I run on my 23mm Schwalbes. Slower, but fewer punctures
