Just thought I'd offer my thoughts, as I sold one of my cars this weekend to them. I don't know what their reputation is like amongst the pistonhead collective, but I have to say my experience was fantastic.

Rocked up on the day that I booked, really friendly blokes who work there, absolutely zero pressure sale. They took a quick look at the car, noted the stone chips on the front which I had already highlighted, didn't mark down anything else. They commented on just how good condition the car was in relative to its age, had quick drive around the car park and job done.

The money takes four days to come through to the bank - due today. Assuming that actually happens without a hitch I would highly recommend this service as a genuine hassle free way to sell a car. I was expecting to be wholesomelly rogered on the original quote, but it didn't happen.

The rub: The purchase price was already way below advertised prices on Autotrader. But mindful that all the cars on Auto-T are for sale, and not sold, and that I wanted both a sold car, and an easy transaction without the hassle of timewasters and dodgy folk kicking my front door in, I was well chuffed.

Afterwards, I did a quick quote on our Evoque too, just to see, and that was only £2k below retail asking prices on Auto Trader, which I thought was really good.

Has anyone else used them?

lol. I asked about ownership and apparently they aren't owned by Carcraft any more, its National Car Auctions, or something like that. smile
