Hi can anyone help shed light on why my Porsche Boxster 03 manual has started pouring oil out the back? The engine warning light came on then off again and it sounded really roughy. Hubby was driving it home having had rear wheels changed. Otherwise all was good in great condition. Awaiting recovery vehicle, a kindly Porsche driver passing by suggested it might need a new engine?! Any ideas?

Just remembered - once car taken off low loader (covered in oil) - I locked it up and noticed although keys not in ignition and lights off the dashboard was still lit up (I.e. clock/speedo etc NOT warning lights). Is that of any significance?

Thanks for note re garage

Marvellous Mike is a real Porsche expert - I wouldn't think of going elsewhere with this pretty little number! Or the car!!! Ha ha ha
