You have to be careful to avoid buying a heap of trouble so we do need to be picky but in the last week we have had....
1.Manic sausage fingered salesmen.
2.Back yard 'private', dealers (two other cars parked up with blacked up tyres and a Transit low loader in the drive),
3.Oh it's a cat c? sorry I didn't know....
4.All that white stuff in the oil cap? Er yes I have had to put some water in it now I come to think of it.
5.No I cant sell it yet,the V5 is not back from the DVLA after swapping the PP,(well re-advertise it when you can sell it).
The hunt continues.

At last we found a car my son is happy with.
Yes,yes,yes,no problem I will lend you £100 no problem,buy it,buy it.
He got an '06 plate Fabia VRS,113k,lots of history,fitted with nice Octavia 17" wheels.£2600.It must have been re-mapped,it flies.

Tell me about it.I had a quick do in it when we got home,manic little thing it is.
It was raining like mad on the way home but even with super soft tyres on it he said the TC light was flashing when we had a little do coming out of a roundabout onto a dual carraigeway.I have a passat B6 TFSI,200 bhp and there was nothing in it between us (other than his tractor doing over 50 mpg).

I am a bit sad but I love looking through paperwork that comes with a car.
This fabia came with the original bill of sale from new and tons of reciepts that match the stamps in the service book.
