308 Peugot from a E36 BMW Coupe

Although there is no comparison, I purchased a 308 Peugeot 16hdi to replace my For Sale on Piston Heads BMWE36 Coupe, we are into retirement so the money area has become tight, after sorting the valet out on this car I fully Serviced, washed the Underside " Yes the Underside" as I do with every car I have owned including the removal of the Wheel Liners ( Sad Sod Aren't) I have always treated my cars this way, on servicing the car I noticed the Disc's looked as if they were 20+years old due to Rust, another Issue the NS/+Front / Read Doors contained about 1/2 Gallon of water due to the very small drain holes under the Door / Door Seal, after twisting the seal the water released & the door was empty of water, I contacted Peugeot UK over this Issue, I stated the Discs & the Door Drain, I emailed saying if I wanted a swimming pool added to my car I would have bought a Paddling pool, the car is a 2008, their response, have a word with your local Dealer, how's that for Service? has anyone else had Issue with the same car?
