Car Battery Booster (standalone) - Recommendations

Can anyone recommend, or has a good experience with, a car battery booster pack please? I'm looking for one that charges the pack itself from the mains, but then can be connected to a car battery to charge it on a standalone basis I.e. whilst the pack is disconnected from the mains, so that it can be used in remote locations where no power is available.

I'm looking to use the booster pack to charge the battery in the car to a point where the car can start using its own battery. So not exactly jump starting as such, but similar. If such a pack is not available, them jump starting using the booster pack would be an option.

Solar is not really an option unfortunately due to the setup of where the car is stored. Good idea though, and may use it with the car stored in my garage at home.

Bump for the Monday morning readers, if there are any other recommendations out there please? Ideally looking for a particular brand and/or model people have found to be good, bad, indifferent.
