DeLorean DMC-12: Time For Tea?

Gullwing doors are always good for motor shows. See the Quant F and Radical RXC at Geneva this year. If you want attention on a show stand or on the public road or anywhere in fact, gullwing guarantees results.

Aside from the obvious Mercedes-Benzes, it's impossible to discuss gullwing doors without thinking of the DeLorean DMC-12. Of course there's so much more do talk about with the car, as this Petrolicious video does, but the doors remain a star attraction.

Geoff Ombao is the owner of this DeLorean and, predictably enough, fell in love with the car as a child. His neighbour owned one, and apparently "every time he drove by, it was like watching Santa Claus driving the ice cream truck."

The car also inspired Geoff to pursue a career dream but we'll let him explain that. And don't worry, there's plenty on John DeLorean too.
