Hello folks, recently had a shot at the Best Of The Best Supercar competition and won a stunning Vauxhall Vxr8 GTS!

This is the second time I've ever played BOTB, after playing my very first game a few years back at a Airport.

I went in big this competition and I'm so glad I did as this was a VERY close game with fellow members coming extremely close to winning (Quite a lot won £200, this happens if you come within a few pixels of the winning spot the judges picked)

Here's the video showing that I won! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ravWPSWpAhc

The night before I had a strange phone call off my mobile off a withheld number asking to speak to my brother in regards to a delivery tommorrow, I responded by saying he's not here at the moment can I take a name and number to pass it onto him, the chap Rupet (Who came today to present the win) said it was ok and that he would call back tommorrow. After speaking to my brother he said he didn't knew what it was about and that he never expected a delivery of any sort and neither did he gave my number out. Alarm bells starting to ring yesterday that I could actually be the winner!

Woke up this morning, slightly excited as I wasn't 100% sure if I won. I heard a knock on the door and that's where it all began! (knew about my brother from finding out those who lived at the electrol roll register) Think he wanted someone to know so I would be in to collect the prize.

Here is my winning postion in this game of last weeks:

I played for 150 tickets, x20 on the R8 V10 Spyder, X1 on the rs4 avant and x129 on the VXR8 GTS!

Some of you maybe wondering why I choose the VXR8 GTS - Well it was merely done from a strategic point of view, I wanted to win the Audi R8 spyder ultimately but I knew I wouldn't take it well had it played for 150 tickets at, (£16 for the R8 but if you buy bulk tickets it works out a lot cheaper) so I went for a cheaper option and got a load of tickets cheaper tickets - at the time the VXR8 GTS seemed to be so at the maximum £5 a ticket bracket - thought it seemed one of the Jags were a worth a bit more bob at the same price!

Sorry for the VERY long winded post, I just wanted to share my joy at winning this competition, there seems to be a lot of skepticism regarding this about being legit but I AM LIVING PROOF that this is not the case to worried about and that it is legit.

At 21 I feel absolutely blessed and humble at winning such a prize, I have decided to take the cash option which works out at roughly 47k after tax (they have to pay tax/vat to the government) instead of taking the car as financially this specific car is quite potentially a money pithole and probably worth close to what I get to taking the cash instead of car option even if I don't drive it. Potentially I could have the car up for sale for months so I went for the hassle free option.

I plan on buying the new rs3 (I have the urge of getting one NOW instead of waiting for ex demo/sales manager) this will hep tremendously getting a foot on the housing ladder too.

So yeah that it, you've got to be in it to win it! Just one ticket and you could end up like me! Some advise don't tell people about your win, namely friends & relatives I got excited and I've told a few people that I wish I didn't!

They have some great discounts on the BMW M range and regularly do great deals on various other deseriable models so check out www.botb.com and it could be you this time!

Good luck folks!

No! Tbh I really didn't take much notice, it was just so surreal at the time I was in the car for not even a minute! Took a few pictures beside it and was just taking it in.

Congratulations! That's awesome.

May I ask what made you decide to go all in and spend alll that cash on tickets?

I wonder what percentage take the cash option over the car. I think in the case of the VXR8 it's probably financially sensible.
Thanks

To be honest I am a bit of gambler, I spend crazy amounts on the lottery/euromillions each week, not winning anything noticeably big to shout about,

I seen last weeks picture and it just looked like a very good week to play but I couldn't pinpoint a specific section on the picture where the ball could be. - Most of pictures can be extremely complicated and difficult to predict - this seemed like one of the easier ones of recent times, I was confident about it but knew I had just spend big stand a very decent chance of winning. Thankfully I listened to my instincts and it paid off.

I believe a lot of people do take the cash option and some that do decide to keep the car end up regretting it due to all sorts of reasons, such as not being able to run the car properly upon various of other reasons,

I was contemplating at spending thousands on one game a few months ago but chickend out at the prospect of losing. BOTB changed the rules meaning you can only play 150 tickets per game - I strongly believe had this change not been implented It could of been a different story as there's no doubt people do to mental some weeks and spend thousands.

Though it just a luck game and you've got to be in it to win it as they say.

I wouldn't say I have a major problem I do know my limits, when I say I spend loads on the lottery every week I usually spend 20 quid, no more than 30 if there's a big jackpot) some may say this is excessive.

Sometimes i just have a that 'feeling' last year I placed a football bet on Manchester United to win in a Champions League tie when that dreadful Moyes were in charge, for a 3000 bet, the return would of been nearly 9k they got battered and I lost all that - Though it was a game we really should of won.

So you could say I am a gambler but one that tries to gamble in safe markets with a higher possibility chance of actually winning instead of losing.

Im shocked at the negative responses calling it fake and that I'm actor and that BOTB asked me to post on here. They haven't on any occasion asked me to post on any social media channels whatsoever. I've been on here for sometime now with other posts so it's not as if I have created an account on here solely promoting my win..

The opening post is just merely promoting the Best Of The Best Competition for others to have a shot at to potentially win one of their dream cars and cash if they decide to play for that too. Not everyone knows about this competition and many probably wouldn't if they never past a airport where they have stands or watch a car video on YouTube which BOTB promotional videos sometimes appear from what I've seen.

This is real competition that literally anyone can win, you actually stand a better chance of winning on this then playing the lottery and only getting £25 here and then, which I've find out to be the case.

I believe quite a few companies actually have stakes in the company too, one of the airline/partners at gatwick and/or heathrow

It is just a luck game just like virtually all competitions out there, though in this case using a bit of skill can help tremoundsly too as its not as if the judges are blindfolded and pick a random spot on screen. I studied the picture for a few days and worked out a patch where I believed the projectory of the ball to be.

You don't have to spend big to win either, a friend's friend won a A45 Amg from a couple of pound bet.

The reason why I went all out of this competition was because I knew it would be tremoundsly close last week I haven't been confident on past pictures - taking this into account I went all out which thankfully it paid off and I was EXTREMLY lucky too because it was a very close call with a ton of people coming just a few pixels off from where I picked.

Just like any competition you enter, you've gotta be in it to win it. I was going to bring the custard out but i completely forgot about it becuase I never thought I'd win at I was going through insane mixed emotions through when I got a knock on the door and i knew what it was all about. I did mention hobnobs which is something a Facebook group I was part of said we would all would do if we won but it didn't make the video.

This is an authentic competition I was skeptical at first, not about the legitimacy of it but the thought of actually winning it - but here I am I've done it and others can do so too.

I don't have a major gambling habit either I never spend more than what I earn, I use surplus income made through other ventures in in such as my online websites which I am make money from. I do know when to stop and not go crazy, not as if I'm down the bookies everyday like a idiot thinking it's going to happen no matter what. I take calculated risks when ever I gamble.

Many thanks for the positive messages for those who left it.

OP I feel this wont go the way you hope,
I know, I know..

Too many people who like to troll their pants off and a few that actively wear their rose tinted glasses.

Even if I was to show the bank statement to actually show I paid for the tickets, show them my account and so on they still wouldn't believe and it's just one massive conspiracy. 😂😂

OP is leading this board on a merry chase.

An innocuous example of terrible grammar made me dig into his post history which I'm not ashamed to say filled me with a lunchtime's worth of entertainment. I know there has been legit winners here before, but basically, this guy is highly suspect and I wouldn't believe a word he says. Here's a summary:

November:
Is 20/21 years old.
Joins the board wanting to travel in convoy with exotica owners to Sloane St to get "papped" by kids.
Elsewhere says he currently owns a MkV Golf R32. He is selling it for approx £12k but is scared of getting robbed selling privately. Gets knuckles rapped for advertising car in the thread.
He wants to use the money from the car (now £15k) to start a charity while part time working and in part-time education. Knows nothing about charities but is not in it for profit and will pay himself only 100s of pounds.
Then decides its a bad idea and wants to put it towards a house instead.

December:
Wants to sue bank because his debit card was used fraudulently. Got the money back and everything, but it didn't cover the hundreds of pounds worth of mobile phone calls it cost him to sort. Whole thing had him so stressed he became suicidal and quit his job.

January:
Sells R32, has the £15k, and buys a 1.4 Polo Twist. Wants to invest the £15k into a business, either his own (websites) or an existing start up. Manages to plug a bullst survey website he likes, and also an ice cream shop. Come to think of it, that would be a good business, wouldn't it? Is told £15k is not going to go too far in that world. Gets some good advice.
During the course of thread, suddenly sells an existing clickbait website he owns for another £15k so now has £30k to play with.

February:
Enquires about parts for a "friend's" 1.4 Polo Twist. No replies.
Enquires a few weeks later about parts for "his" 1.4 Polo Twist. Is wanting to get the job done on the cheap.

April:
Wins BoTB last Wednesday. Provides advertorial, and takes the money and gets £47k. Wants an RS3 ex-demo maybe and to put the money toward a house.
Is now sitting on £77k at 21 years old.
Reveals gambling habits.

Saturday - Reveals interest in purchasing a new car but has issue with the logbook. Car in question is a Mk5 Golf R32 for £14.5k....

Let's be honest here, this post is nothing short of desperate plea to earn brownie points by spouting a majority of bull****.

That R32 chap that you claim was me has nothing to do me whatsoever. If you would like to believe otherwise then that's your bloody problem. DEAL WITH IT.

Everything else that I've mentioned above is indeed true, I sold the r32 in January and I bought the polo off a friend who needed the cash as he was skint, I didn't have transport, it was one owner, good condition so I thought it would be a good project to take on.

Let's just get's this straight, you are nothing short of a tosspot with nothing else better to do. You my friend are nothing short of a green eye troll that craves the attention. That's a mental condition and I urge you to seek professional help at the earliest opportunity before there is no hope for that fragile mind of yours.

I do not have to prove nothing to you or anyone else for matter. The fact that you took time out to write this dumb post, searched previous posts of myself shows what a utter complete tosspot you are, work harder my friend and you will never need to hate on others again.

Oh I'll just finish off by saying I have better things to do, such as thinking exactly what to spend close to 90k in my bank. Agh that feeling. smile H-A-T-E-R-S G-O-N-N-A H-A-T-E!

Chow my friend. Enjoy life, I know I'm going to!

It was actually the new Rs3 (fully specced, circa 55k, same as the retail price for the vxr8) I wanted, not the outgoing one but BOTB would of preferred me to either take the cash or have the car as it would of set the precedent of other future winners to ask for different cars.

I like to have a bet here and there but I'm a sensible better. I never bet more than I earn and I don't bet hundreds a month either. It's 99.99% less than £100 for a bit of harmless fun. I don't drink, smoke and I one off clothes shop a year so it's just a little hobby of mines, I like doing.

I am looking at buying a property and I'm being 100% sensible with it as I know hitting the jackpot in similar fashion might not happen again in my lifetime. I'm holding off the car purchase.

Life is all about taking risks, that relates to all sorts of people and inventions, Steve Jobs with Apple and people like Andreas Panayiotou who sold off his real estate in 2007 before the big crash.

Rich people got to where they are by taking RISK. These days it's so hard to acculmate vast wealth as the majority of the time you need money to make money.

As I said thanks to those who have left positive comments and I wish those who play and aren't skeptical about this dream car winning competition the best of luck. I'm playing again this week!
