Bit of a spanner

We took the daughter and dog for a wander around a lake 20 miles away yesterday. Daughter took her bike.
1/2 way down the motorway (about 10 miles from home) I realised I had left the bike rack spanner on the ledge behind the tailgate. Thinking it unlikely to be still there knowing the speed bumps, twists and turns before the motorway I thought I had better stop and check.
Lo and behold not moved an inch.
Very impressed now with L322 air suspension (and my own masterly smooth driving obviously
).
Any similar surprises folks?
