This is a MASSIVE long shot.

My Brother is on his way to Florence for a wedding and he's had a puncture in one of his run flats.

They are near Annecy and have been told that, due to the bank holiday, it could be Tues/Weds before they get him going again.

If I can find a tyre, is there any way of getting it to him by courier over the weekend or does anyone have contacts in that area to try and get him back on the road?

Tyre size is 275/35/19 run flat.

Any advice or ideas most welcome!

Cheers

Thanks for the ideas. Particularly like the "reporting it stolen" one.

He has breakdown cover, its them that have told him Tues/Weds.

All the local tyre places are shut, although he has found a garage that will fit it for him if he finds a tyre.

All the ones on Ebay.fr are actually located in the UK!

I've had an email from someone on here who has helpfully pointed me in the direction of the ex pat forums and a local mobile tyre guy but no joy as yet.

Apparently it does have to be run flat for the bead to sit on the rim?? I'm no expert.

Thanks for your very kind offer though.
