Hi all,

looking to buy the LCI m135i in the coming months. one thing that shocks me is the 0-100 mph times of around 4.9 seconds that is stupidly fast.

i want to ask, will this car be too fast because from what I've read the car sounds scarily fast. It has also been named a junior supercar by top gear which is high praise for this crazy German whip. It probably is one of the fastest cars BMW have ever made and to be a future classic I can see it taking after the E30 M3 10 years down the line.

Should I buy this mind blowing car, or will it be too fast I don't want to get scared everytime I drive it lol

Ive also been looking at the Golf R but with a 0-60 time slower than the 0-100 time of the Beemer its not as appealing. I also I prefer the rwd of the BM for some sideways action out of street junctions and an odd burnout here and there for a bit of fun.

This post reminds me why I will never buy an M135
Your loss I'm afraid this car is a supercar slayer it doesn't get any better than an M135I a proper M car and i'm considering one over the less drivers car of the M3 and M4. BMW M division certainly got it right with the M1.

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed.

Try harder.
you're obviously thick not knowing what a BMW M135i is (known as the BMW M1 within the BMW world).
can you stop trolling my thread aswell by putting up picture of irrelevant cars.

I've got an test drive sorted for tomorrow and the dealer has already warned me my neck will be hurting by the end of the test drive lol, that's how savage this car is.

Enjoy the test drive, I hope it snaps your head clean off your neck.
Are you jealous because you can't afford an M135I?

More likely its that you and others on here can't handle the savage power delivered by the Beemer.

It would be... if it were true. 0-100mph in 4.9 is what you might achieve with a bugatti veyron super sport, or perhaps a drag racer, but not an M135i.

Are you sure you weren't looking at 0-100kph times?

Anyway, I'm sure it's a quick car, I'm sure it's a lot of fun... but I really doubt you'll be troubling veyrons in it.
Thanks for the info i'm very sure that is the 0-100 mph time, will find out tomorrow when im on a testdrive, will do a timed 0-100 and see if it is.

Why stop there?

Do a 0-200.
Sadly the car I'm going to view tomorrow is standard so wont be able to, but hopefully if i do buy it i will be getting it remapped so wont be far off from 200mph.

Are you sure it was a M135I? These cars are built to compete with supercars. They probably felt sorry for you in your stty Citroen.

BTW you need to seriously consider going to some English and spelling classes the way you write is appalling.

Sweet. 7100rpm in top gear is all you need for 200mph. A generic £300 remap will sort you out.
Yeah that should be enough tbh i wouldn't be surprised if it goes over 200mph. I will be getting it remapped by Quantum tuning.

The LCI ones look better...

Also, why will you have a sore neck on your test drive, what will you be doing, trying to get a bit of discount?
I have been warned by the dealer prior to my testdrive to cover their backs, because of the savage power delivered to the rear wheels. The reason for the sour neck would be because of the head pinning back experience.
