Hi, the sub in my focus blew and i got another secondhand,(kenwood t10 0878 08)The original sub had just 1 voice coil but the kenwood has 2, i have just wired to one set of connectors but now it seems to be trying to play higher frequencys as well as the low so do i need to wire it differently ie http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/le... or http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/le...
problem is i dont know anything about the sub or the amp, the amp is the original option one and i cant find info on the sub, help.

Will need to get a shot of a multimeter to test the ohms of the old and new subs.

Thats what I cant work out, does the sub have a phono input like an active home cinema sub would or is it just a big speaker(s) that just has a straight speaker input, like a passive sub would.
no phono input just straight connectors, old sub was the same but with just one voice coil so just one set of connectors.

You need to put one of these In Line on your RCA/Phono input to your amp this will give you greater control of your Frequencies.

How hard would this be to wire up, i see it needs a power feed, would this one be better http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audiovox-Viper-Crossover...
