Gone from rft to non runflats on a BMW

Car doesn't have room for a spare

What's a good precaution on 20" tyres, several tyre weld cans?

What does each solution offer, ie distance, speed able to travel on?

It's for a 7 seat x5 so no room for spare

This. Used to carry slime/gunk in my M5 plus a Green Flag card, do the same in my Cayenne.

If I went on long trips or over to Europe I would put one of the old tryes in the boot from the last time they were changed, takes up a bit of space but worst case all I would need is someone to change it until I can source a new tyre.
That's not a bad idea but have got rid of the tyres
Plus I also run a staggered fitment
