Have you ever just thought 'sod it' and bought a car?

Has a point or event happened in your life, where you just thought, "f
k it" and went and bought a car? I'm thinking along the lines of buying expensive ones, crazy ones, or just something a bit different.
I'm not talking about buying a £300 banger off ebay, more like expensive stuff, blowing all your savings which are doing nothing, taking out a big finance agreement or whatever.
What caused you to do this, and did you regret it?
