New Audi R8 video review, England versus Germany drag racing and much more!

We hope you like the new PHTV format, the emphasis now very much on the driving. To that end this week features Dan's report from the launch for the new Audi R8, including a track test around Portimao. Indeed, the car's bellowing V10 engine does a pretty convincing job of drowning out his wittering, which is a blessing for all really.

Also in this episode we have the usual news and views, plus a drag race out-take from our recent attempt to find the perfect Jaguar/Porsche showdown. The story certainly attracted a lot of comments - now see the cars in action for real and laugh at our attempts to demonstrate the 911's launch control. Apparently it's completely idiot proof...
