The best 2 litre diesel estate.....
Discussion
Hi,
You might have read another topic about the Peugeot 4007, but I have been told its crap. So here I am asking this, whats the best 2 litre diesel estate car?
Criteria
-6 years of age max
- £7k max
-70k miles max
-45+ MPG
-Big enough to fit a family of 5
-2 litre or bigger engine
Thanks!

Insignia tourer?
I think that whilst they don't have a great reputation round these parts, the Estates are pretty decent cars. Plenty of choice means they are cheap. You could do worse.Depends how big the kids are, Octavia is probably about the bottom end of your size requirements. Fits 4 adults in comfort, 5 is reasonably comfortable, and has a decent sized boot, but if you're looking at booster seats or child seats then it might be a bit cramped in the back. I've averaged about 47mpg over several years in my vRS, and regularly get mid 50's on longer journeys.
Supurb is a bit bigger.
